Selsey Bill Tower

We were tasked on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency to design and build a new 16m high radio tower at Selsey Bill remote radio site and demolish the existing look-out tower. The new tower included the installation of a cable management system and concrete service duct; full antenna compliment and testing, access ladder, a latch-way fall protection system, a rest platform and a lightning protection system.

The new tower is a galvanised triangular lattice structure sitting on a reinforced concrete foundation. The existing tower was demolished once the new tower was fully rigged and operational.
