Concrete Slabs and Warehouse Installation

Working as principal contractor, Avon Construction were contracted by ES-KO to cast 4nr structural concrete slabs for the installation of temporary buildings within Fawley Oil Refinery. The concrete slabs were to provide a level hardwearing surface and raft foundation to support the steel framed warehouse buildings. The slabs were cast directly onto an existing service yard hardstanding. Steel frame and cladding commenced once the concrete slabs were complete.
