Cycle Parking

Avon Construction worked with South West trains to provide cycle parking facilities at 10 railway stations.

Works involved providing a secure fenced compound for new cycle shelters, re-surfacing and white lining. Power feeds were also provided for the installation of CCTV and lighting. Working closely with the cycle rack providers we were able to complete all the work in a smooth programme minimising the disruption to passengers.

The greatest challenge in this project was managing the work over 10 different sites, with careful planning and coordination we managed this risk to successfully deliver the work.
