Godalming Railway Station

Avon Construction have recently completed Phase 1 of the Godalming Station Forecourt Improvements Project.

The Forecourt Improvements have been designed to improve the interface with car park users, pedestrians, and taxi users.  The works involved installation of a new traffic island, new footpaths and new crossing points comprising of drop kerbs and tactile paving. Signage and road markings have been altered to tie in with new road layout.

The works were spit in to 2 Phases, Phase 1 on South Western Railway land, and Phase 2 on the Highway. Highway works will commence once the S278 agreement is in place, expected in late April 2024.
