Matchams

Avon Construction worked with South West Water to remediate a section of sheet pile wall to protect a length of the river bank along the River Avon.

Working at the intake pumping station on the River Avon at Matchams we installed a new sheet pile wall and capping beam to stabilise the river bank and prevent further washout of the bank.

Working in a confined area with limited working space we successfully delivered the work with detailed planning and programme sequencing.
