Winfrith Concrete Slab

Avon Construction were awarded the design and construction of a 13m by 10m reinforced concrete slab for Tradebe at the Dorset Innovation Centre in Winfrith. The slaps purpose is to hold both a hydrogen peroxide tank as well as an emergency shower. The ducting and piping required for these were excavated and installed prior to construction of the slab. The scope of works included excavation and installation of ducting, piping and draw pits, installation of rebar to design, pouring and finishing of concrete.
